Pink Backed Pelican

A Pink Backed Pelican - Wingham Wildlife Park, August 2011

During the summer, myself and my family enjoyed a lovely day out to Wingham Wildlife Park in Kent. As ever, I was armed with my sketch book and produced several studies of the animals on display. These sketches were fun and very challenging to create. As you can imagine, the animals didn’t stay still for very long. Before I would start to draw them, I would study their behaviour and movements in the hope that I would capture their personalities on paper.

I thoughly enjoyed drawing these studies and I hope that you enjoy the few sketches I have posted for you to see.

Enjoy.
